TRAVEL DAY!

We were thankful to see everyone arrive safely at the airport, after navigating snowy and icy roads!  After group photos, goodbyes, and a swift group check-in. we were on our way!

The day went really well, considering it was a long day ... good flights, a 6-hour-layover in Houston, and e arrived in Managua!  Everyone did really well!

We arrived to the thick, hot air of Managua!  As our bus drove us to the Nehemiah Center, we took in the sites of the streets, even in the dark.  It is a lot to take in!

We arrived at our home for the week - the beautiful Nehemiah Center!  We unpacked, settled into our rooms, experienced our first cold showers, and headed to bed tired ... but excited to be in NICARAGUA!
