Day 6

Again, a day late.  I'll try to get today's up before we head back to the hotel.  We have mainly been using the school's Internet, not our laptops.  The hotel Internet only works in one area.  And there are no plugins and our laptop batteries die quickly.

This post was written by Aaron, I think he had a good birthday.  He didn't mention that we had cake and Coke's with the teachers at Cristo Rey.  Enjoy:

Today was Aaron's birthday! He had Happy Birthday sang to him four times over the past five days. The teachers here at Christo Rey threw a surpise Birthday Party at lunch! Some of the students also gave him very heart felt cards... Today was expectionally hot! Luckily we didn't have to be on the roof very long! The younger children found out that Courtney is tickilsh; she was swarmed by more than thirty kids all screaming her name... Quite the sight!

After the lunchtime-birthday-party we went back to Conepceon (the school which we painted the two days before)... We finished painting the Chapel today; so we got to work on the halls and staircase. Loads of dust and finger prints! The kids were constantly asking for piggy backs! After being tired out by the kids we went back to Christo Rey to pratice our singing for tomorrow. We were asked to sing in front of the school tomorrow in chapel. Later we plan to go swimming in the dark like most nights to help wash off the grime from working!
