After meeting, planning, preparing, studying, learning, raising money, and coming together as a team for many months, we are ALMOST ready to go! We still have lessons to finish, supplies to pack, presentations to complete, songs to practice, and last minute items to gather for the trip.... Almost ready!
We are so excited to have the opportunity to go to Managua, Nicaragua and meet with our partner school, Bautista Libertad. While there, we will spend time interacting with our friends from Bautista, learning from one another, and continuing to build relationships with each other. We will also be working at the small, remote school of El Jordan, were we will be painting newly-built classrooms for the students and teachers there.
We look forward to learning about the people and the culture of Nicaragua, while experiencing the land and the culture firsthand. We look forward with excitement and anticipation, as we wrap up the last few preparations.
