Day 6

Today was a cultural/rest day for Covenant HANDS Team Belize. Words and pictures will not be able to encompass this awesome day. We were treated to meat pies and fruit from Pastor Ernest this morning. We then loaded up in our awesome bus for a 1.5 hour drive to Nohoch Che’en Caves.
We then hiked 30 minutes with life jackets, hard hats and carrying our tubes to where we launched for a float through the caves. God gives us so many opportunities to worship Him in nature. For most of us the caves were a time of amazement and joy, and fun.
A delicious lunch followed. The return trip included a nap for almost all of us. We stopped to see Old Belize, and then stopped again in the city for an ice cream treat. The day ended with a wonderful Mexican meal in a park.
Today was a wonderful day.
