We Are Home!!!

Our plane has landed and the suitcases were all gathered and Devon was able to come home with us!!! Andria came home with us too, Liz was the only one that we left behind. We enjoyed having Liz as part of our team and we hope that her and Kendrick have a great 2 weeks together in Orchid Bay.

It was a long day yesterday, starting at 7:30 for breakfast and touring New Life Christian School in Orange Walk. The children were very friendly and enjoyed our visit. Many songs were sung and memory verses recited and the love of Jesus shone through the teachers and their students. It was a blessing for us to see the Biblical truths of God's word being learned in their classrooms. The team from Bramalea will be blessed by this school when they go to work there in June.

From there we made our way to the airport. After checking our baggage in, we said our final goodbyes to Pastor Alvaro and Angie. They were a blessing to us and our trip was very organized and they made sure that we were where we were supposed to be and that we arrived everywhere on time. Thank you both for all of the work that you do for the schools as well as your church and the community. Two very busy people, with sincere hearts and with Christ-like humility. May God continue to bless San Narciso as He uses you to teach the people there. We said goodbye, but we will see each other again.

Our flights were all on time and the weather was good as well, although the temperature kept getting cooler the further north we travelled. We thank God for travelling mercies, while we were in Belize as well as coming home. We saw the handiwork of our Father in the beautiful country of Belize, we were blessed with new friends and we were able to help the school in San Narciso. This trip was a great experience for all of us and we are taking home many memories that we will cherish. The voices of the children, the teacher, our daily food ladies, the workers, the pastor and his wife, are still sounding in my head, the smiles on their faces are seen in the pictures we have of them and the love of Jesus is in our hearts.

We want to thank all of our prayer partners back home, our families, our friends, our church families and all of you who have been reading our blog daily. We definitly felt you praying for us and each day we woke up with renewed strenth to carry on for another day. We knew that we were in God's hands and if "God is for us, who can be against us?" We started each day with prayer together and we ended our day thanking our God for all He provided for us. God is good and greatly to be praised.

If you ever get a chance to join a HANDS team, we definitly recommend that you go...get out of your comfort zone, jump out of the boat...and GO!!!!
