Travel Days

It is 10 p.m. Belize time and our travel day is now complete.  Our team members met at Pearson at 4:30 this morning and began a long and happily uneventful day of travel.  While we left a moderately warm Ontario behind us, it paled in comparison to the conditions that greeted us this afternoon when we walked down onto the tarmac in Belize City.  Heavy tropical air wrapped us in its suffocating embrace and has yet to let us go.  Pastor Betson assures us that we will adjust.  However some of us are not sure.  At dinner this evening the Nightingale twins were beaded in sweat and all they were doing was eating Mexican food.  We thought fondly of January.

Time to bring this very long day to an end.  We will update again tomorrow.
