Day 7

Today we got up at 7 and had a breakfast everyone enjoyed of pancakes and fruit. We got ready for work and headed out on our way. Before we went to work we stopped at Belen school. It was amazing to see how it has turned out. Most of us have worked on that school in past years with different teams and to see that these projects get finished it truly amazing. We were able to connect with the children and reconnect with staff and old friends from that school as well. Once we were done there we headed off to work. Everyone had jobs today whether it be taking more nails out of wood, laying blocks, making stacks of cement blocks in the rooms, building the walls (Bernie was trusted enough to build his very own wall), or grabbing mortar for those building the walls, pointing, etc. We also had time today to play with the kids again; tag and volleyball were some of their favourites. By the end of the day we were all very tired and when we got home we all took showers and had dinner. Bill went to a meeting with Mario and Maria Laura to talk about future plans while the rest of us stayed back and watched another RC Sproul video, the last of the 3 video series. At 7:30 Franklin came and picked us up and we all headed off to the malll. We got a few things we needed for at home and also got a few dozen donuts from Crispy Creme which everyone got to enjoy once we were home. :) After the mall Franklin took us to his home and we met his wife Karina and their two children. We got home at 10 and Bill and 10:30ish and everyone was so tired from the day we all went to bed.
