Houston, we have a problem…

Currently, eight of the twelve HANDS team members have arrived in Belize.  John, John, Ed, Cor, Steve, Janine, Colleen, met Chuck in the Belize City airport.  Four members of our team: Julia, Sydney, Amber and Sion were held up in Houston in order to sort out some paperwork.  This is a case of the airline looking out for everyone’s best interest, but there is still a frustrating wrinkle in the travels.  On a positive note, the airline is covering the extra expenses of the additional stay of the team members in Houston.

Prayer notes:

- Praise for our awesome Lord

- Thanksgiving for safety and relatively smooth flights so far

- Thanksgiving for the gracious drivers that took us to the airport:  Harry, Dave, and Jacco – Thank you all so much!

- Continued travelling safety for the team members still travelling tomorrow

- Wisdom, protection and guidance on our activities and interactions for our time in Belize

Please forgive the brief blog for today.  It has been a long day of travels.  We are looking forward to reporting on our first work day tomorrow!
