Day 2

It's strange how the second day in, we are starting to feel at home and we are
understanding our job. Peter is a great supervisor - showing us the big picture of our
role in the vision that Edu Deo has for this school (he's a hard worker too!)

We leave the Nehemiah Center at 7:30 am, arrive at the job site at 8:30 am work
until 4. Back at the Nehemiah Center at 5, we have one hour until dinner.
And later on, devotions.
At the Nehemiah Center we had a presentation tonight by Jairo Solano of
Feed the Hungry (and orgainization in the Nehemiah Center). He told us how his desire to serve God better led to his work with Feed the Hungry. His 7 year old son said to him "If God were to write a book about me, it would be 7 pages long."
This led Jairo to question of himself 'If God wrote a book about me, what would He
write? Would it be a Dr.Seuss book with large letters? or something of greater
consequence.' Might that be something we could all think about?
When Jairo mentioned that he married a good Dutch girl, we all applauded for
some reason :)
Great team spirit, wonderful discussions and some good laughs too.
