This mornings' devotion talked about stepping out in faith. Each day will have its challenges and obstacles, but we need to remember that God is in control of all things.
We had hoped to leave by 7:30 am from the CCAP heat house and we were pretty much on time. But before we could get fuel one of the cars died. After looking at a few different things Paul figured out that there was a loose connection for the injector pump. Then we were off! Only to drive a few miles and find the road was closed again and we needed to take a 45 minute detour around.
On our way to the game park we made a quick stop at Ikwele primary. This is a renovation project that some team members assisted on last year. The school looked really good and the kids were very enthusiastic to see us.
We arrived at the South Luangwa National Park, just 30 minutes before our drive.
The drive was good to see God’s creation in a very natural state. We seen a few animals and marvelled at the greenery and the water in this area. It has been very wet. The drive was followed up by a good evening meal and everyone headed off to bed. We have an early start tomorrow morning as we head back to Lusaka.
Thanks for your prayers and words of encouragement !!
