A Beautiful Day!

Cue the U2 mixtape, because what a beautiful day it was! We were able to attend Moffat's church this morning and it was wonderful to join together in worship. The choirs and passion is a joy to witness and was wonderful to share some of our music with them.

After lunch we were fortunate to visit with Philemon at Keystone school and learn about the work that is being done there, and his plan for the future, God willing. It was great to spend a time of rest together, and we shared some of our personal stories about what God has done in our lives. It is great to build relationships with the people here, as well as with each other in our group.

Speaking of building relationships, it's interesting  the circumstances that lead us to discover the  unknown about each other. Melissa grossly overreacted when a casual notice was sent her way about her carbonated beverage fizzing. It took a few minutes to coax her off the roof. It might have had something to do with the the ferocious viper that she swears that was as thick as her thigh was seen earlier in the guesthouse, headed straight for, but either way we continue to learn more about each other.

We continued our bonding with our Bible study. We have been working through a study titled 'Gospel in Life' and it has been challenging, and rewarding. We have had discussions about our community, about how we are called to bring the gospel into all areas of our life such as work etc, and tonight we talked about how we are called to serve those around us and what that looks like for us in our communities.

We were able to witness a beautiful sunset, reminding us of how great God's creation is. Being rested up we are looking forward to a new day, ready to experience and participate in what God is calling us to in our day to day. We appreciate your prayers and comments, and look forward to sharing our stories with you this coming week.
