The 35 plus degree day was made up of digging holes and tying rebar. The women mostly stuck with the rebar job, as it had a kind of crafty feel to it.
The men, plus the very hardy hermina, dug holes... I'll let you guess what kind of feel that had.
Peter and Trudy our gracious and hardworking hosts picked us up in the morning to bring us to the new job site. This is their 5th school project this season! A hot lunch (Kentucky fried chicken-esque) with rice n beans n beets was delivered by Lester.
Quitting time came far too soon...felt like we just got here!
Back to Nemiah Center for a cold trickle and some yummy supper.
Tomorrow we will pick right up from where we started.
Looking forward to a good day.
Bless the work of our hands Lord, and thank you for a good day!
