Entry 4

Today was a day for visiting and driving. Hit the road at seven sharp and had a quick breakfast at the job site. Dorthy came with us on our way Lundazi. By the time we got to Mwase schools our butt cheeks were numb and sore. Visited the primary and secondary schools and saw the wonderful work that is being done there. We had a bit of an extended visit, because we had a downpour that lasted for close to an hour! There was water running everywhere! The amazing thing is we got in our vehicles and drove down dirt roads right after with no issues of getting stuck.

Then it was back in the vans for a lunch at the guesthouse and a visit to Mphamba schools. Saw more beautiful kids and a completed and busy set of classrooms. Next we stopped at Philemon’s new school Keystone Christian School. The beautifully coloured classroom block is a testament to his enthusiasm and commitment to children and their education. As we are writing this we are finally heading back home in the dark. By now we have lost all feeling in our rear ends but it was a joy to see the end result of our efforts.

Also just before this printing deadline we still had car trouble. A lost radiator cap had the van over heating. With some creative heroics of Collins and Jonathon we were able to get back on the road and arrived at our guesthouse for dinner just before 11 pm.

All is well. He is faithful to us. God is good!!
