EDUCATION DAY in Chinandega

Well today we as a team experienced another amazing and wonderfully fulfilling day.  After breakfast we packed up and were off again in the van for a two hour drive to El Viejo Christian school to deliver them 200 hundred desks.

Upon arriving we were greeted by some 150 students on their last day of school for this school year, who were thrilled too see us and for the first time be able to sit at a desk for the upcoming school year.  To this point they have been sitting on the floor.  Once desks were unloaded, white boards installed in the class rooms, we were able to give each child a juice box along with some candies and a bag of chips. They were so thrilled with this treat!!!  Following this we were treated by some students in song and drama performances.  Of course there needed to be a soccer game and we'll let you decide who you think won. A lunch was then served by them in appreciation to us.  More thank yous and a farewells and we were off again.  We stopped at two former projects Woodynook was able to participate in and see progress and finished projects.  Once again a display again of how God is so Good!
