Our 'WHY'

Education.  It’s something that we in Canada definitely take for granted. We believe every child should have the opportunity to go to school, and that is why the Grace URC Hands Team is preparing to head to Nicaragua in March 2020.  We will be helping build another classroom and office for El Shadai Community School in the community of El Viejo Chinandega, Nicaragua.

For most of us this is our first opportunity to go on a mission trip, and it is the first time our church is sending a team out.  It feels like we are embarking on an adventure, and we are excited to work with Edu Deo Ministries and the people of El Viejo. We ask for your prayers and support as we prepare. If you are interested in helping our team out financially, please go to edudeo.com/hands/graceurc where you can donate to the team, or to specific individuals.  Thank you so much!

Please click on the school name on our main Grace URC Hands Team page to read more about the school and the community we will be serving.
