Day 3

Sunday

Today we started the day off with church, for most of the people who havent been to Belize this church was alot different. The whole Promise Keepers group sang two songs at the moring service and two at the niight service. It was amazing to see little orphange kids singing along to a song most had never heard before. One thing that will stick out to most of us is the vast amount of love everyone has here. Children and people you dont even know the name of greet you with a hug and will say "I love you! You are special!"

After the morning service we all piled on the bus and headed to Old Belize. Old Belize is like a heritage museum as well as a small relaxing salt water protected pool on the ocean. When you stood on the dock you could see fish, big and small, swimming in this pool. It was a fantastic experince to see a different side of Belize that doesnt smell like sewage!

After relaxing we rushed back home so we wouldnt be late for church; luckly we had plenty of time to spare in the end. At church some returning PK Hands On team members saw some familar faces and had a great time reconnecting with them. We had alot of fun singing to the school kids and we are all looking forward to seeing some of the guys at our guys retreat on wednesday!
