Last Hola!
Our final day in the DR was spent site seeing and being cultured! We started the day seeing the three eyes caves national park, which was beautiful to say the least. We followed this by going downtown to experience a few things.
We spent a good chunk of the afternoon being guided by a tour guide to see a lot of what Christopher Columbus had established when he discovered the Island. From Churches, to restaurants, to you can name it, we got a great tour with tons of information. Following this, we spent some time by the ocean, just relaxing.
Finally, we were able to see our friend Guillermo one last time for supper at his house. Franklin came as well as the director of the school, and we all enjoyed one last meal together with a blessing from them as we departed.
Our time in the DR has come to an end. Many amazing relationships have flourished, and God has had his hand with us in so many ways. Hopefully, you are witnessing a group of men who are coming back to Canada with a fire in their belly for God’s people, and eachother.
God bless and we will see you tomorrow!
