Day 7: Farewell

Hola!

This edition of our blog comes a day late due to no Wi-Fi here at the camp! Sorry about that. Yesterday marked the day we finished our work at the school and bid our farewells.

It was a blessing to work the morning there again, and see the kids, teachers, and workers one last time. We were blessed with many prayers for our safety back home and thankfulness for our coming in the first place. Likewise, we took turns blessing the people we came in contact with. We have truly been blessed by our brothers and sister in the DR, and hope our efforts blessed them as well.

In the Afternoon, we drove to two other schools in the area, to witness some schools that were a little further along in the construction process and get an idea of what Pena de Horeb was envisioning.

Tomorrow will mark our last full day in the DR, as we spend the day embracing culture, and saying farewell to the last few friends we’ve made here.

Thanks, and we are all missing you guys very much. See you soon!
