K. So today we woke up at normal time (7:00/7:30) to another glorious breakfast and jumped in the van and headed off to work. We spent the morning smashing down a wall which was surprisingly awesomely fun; but then we had to clean it up, which wasn’t really that bad because we made a “simple line”. After lunch Billy took us for a walking tour through the “real hood” which was really an eye opener. He told us about the people and the family mentality of the people that live there and I thought it was really neat. After work we headed back to the camp and jumped in the pool with the cooks’ two grandchildren and they were the most adorable children I’ve seen in my life! After swimming we ate supper which was FANTASTICOOO! The food here is amazing! Once supper was finished a group of us started singing in the pouring rain, under a tin roof so it was really loud. It was really cool though. I realized that my future profession is being a hair stylist by playing with hair (Kira will be my personal hair stylist trainer person) and now I’m writing this blog. So that’s about the extent of our day. ADIOS!
