What should EduDeo's community know about you?
BA: I recently moved to Canada with my family. In the past few months, we have had opportunities to meet great people, learn and adapt to the Canadian culture which we find truly amazing. Before emigrating to Canada, I had over ten years of community development and social services experience in vulnerable places in West Africa. I am passionate about identifying and meeting the needs of diverse people, including children and women. I have had the opportunity to teach, and these experiences have broadened my understanding of the ever-changing challenges in the education sector, especially in developing countries. I am looking forward to connecting and working with you for greater impact!
What do you love about EduDeo?
BA: I really love that EduDeo is intentional about Christ-centred education, especially in a world where the value and essence of education are being compromised. This unique Christ-centred approach does not only provide children with the power to make meaningful choices in life but also provides them with in-depth knowledge of the source of human existence, hope, and strength needed to navigate life and fulfil their potential. I also love the fact that international partners take ownership of projects and ensure they succeed.
Who is a teacher that has inspired you?
BA: I love how my mathematics teacher helped me develop an interest in learning math while I was in high school. I initially felt math was super difficult, with tons of terminology and calculations. His ways of simplifying the various terms and signs helped me learn and love math.
