School Relationship Manager

Position: School Relationship Manager 
Classification: Salary – Full Time

Position Summary:

The School Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with schools across Canada. Through promotional activities like school and classroom presentations, student learning and fundraising projectsand encouraging and walking alongside school HANDS teams - the School Relationship Manager will build a community of schools who are passionate about the mission and vision of EduDeo Ministries. 

The ideal candidate is a passionate educator, who is skilled in both promotion – inspiring big and small audiences – and administration – including curriculum development for domestic programs. They advocate for global Christ-centred education – inspiring students and teachers to partner with EduDeo in our work around the world. They think strategically, communicate effectively, and are creative.  

Description of Responsibilities and Duties: 

Promotion: (45%) 

  1. Lead EduDeo in the development and implementation of a comprehensive Canadian Christian schools promotional strategy that includes the following programs:

    • Annual Campaign 
    • Road2Hope: School Edition 
    • Write2Hope 
    • School HANDS teams 
    • International Block / Act Five 
    • Discover & Learn
       
  2. Deepen EduDeo’s relationship with various Christian school associations throughout Canada.
  3. Attend and present at Christian school conferences across Canada.
  4. Network with teachers and principals.
  5. Lead school assemblies and classroom presentations.
  6. Manage the ‘Schools portion of EduDeo’s website. 

Administration: (45%) 

  1. Execute a comprehensive school engagement plan that includes facilitating the following programs:  

    • Annual Campaign 
    • Road2Hope: School Edition 
    • Write2Hope 
    • School HANDS teams 
    • International Block / Act Five 
    • Discover and Learn 
    • Individual classroom visits

  2. Develop curriculum as it relates to school requests and domestic program needs. 
  3. Steward relationships with our BC Ambassadors. 
  4. Manage the schools@edudeo.com  correspondence. 
  5. Coordinate and manage school communications in partnership with the Marketing Team, including two school mailings a year. 

Organization (10%) 

  1. Be an active participant of the Key Relations Team. 
  2. Be an active participant in team meetings, etc. 
  3. Provide assistance, as requested, at various significant organizational events. 
  4. Continue to grow through professional development opportunities. 
  5. Complete any other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director. 

Job Requirements: 

  • Strong commitment to Jesus Christ and His church. 
  • Strong commitment to the vision, mission, values, and goals of EduDeo Ministries. 
  • Highly self-motivated, ambitious, and adaptable. 
  • Minimum 3+ years as a teacher. 
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. 
  • Excellent presentation and administrative skills. 
  • A minimum of a B.Ed. 
  • An understanding of pedagogies – specifically Project Based Learning (PBL) and Teaching for Transformation (TFT) is an asset. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe and Salesforce is an asset. 
  • International experience is an asset. 
  • Domestic Travel: a week in Alberta annually, a week in BC annually, throughout the year in Ontario  
  • Global Travelapproximately two weeks internationally per year. 

Reporting Structure: 

The School Relationship Manager reports to the Marketing Director.
