New Beginnings--Concepcion

Welland HANDS Team:

-The day began with a sunrise----gathering together for devotions ---breakfast with fry jack-then by 8:30am we were off to Concepcion Presbyterian School.

-after the general student  assembly outside, led by the preschool 4 yr olds, we headed upstairs with Principal Christian to see the classroom and hallway that needed to be prepped for the tiling we will be doing....a few water/coffee breaks as it was hot and hard work was done.

-due to the fact the school ran out of water, our day was cut short, therefore the cement couldn't be mixed....we played with the kids at lunch time...then headed back to Hotel Hok Ol K'in

-well....it's 29 C....we thought we'd take advantage of it...some went swimming--eh Ted, Matt, Bryan??  others strolled through town. Eh Kim.....the hammock was good. The breeze is just wonderful!!!
