Last Team Meeting

St. Catharines HANDS Team:

We had our last and final team meeting last Sunday evening. We had a great discussion on what the trip to Belize may look like to some team members who were still a little uneasy with the whole things. Edu-deo's Tim Bootsma joined us to give us an encouraging talk on why we were going. He said that even though the work was important, it was not about the work alone, but about the relationships we would make and how we will become friends with other Christian brothers and sisters from another country and show the love of Christ to them.

After a great discussion we talked about the details of our commissioning service on Jan. 27,  handed out the flight tickets to everyone and decided where and what time we were going to meet to drive to the Buffalo airport.
We also received and divided up a whole bunch of school supplies that were bought and donated by the class of Irene Bootsma of Beacon Christian School. Thank you kids!

Hey all

The Fenwick HANDS Team wishes you all a blessed trip to Belize. May you be the hands and feet of Christ as you work and fellowship with the people there. Know that God goes with you; in fact he already knows all that will heppen while you are travelling and while you are working. He knows your fears and concerns and he knows the joy that you will come back with.

Have a wonderful commissioning service and a safe trip. We look forward to hearing from you while you are there as we are next!! We will pray that you will have calm hearts, joy in the work you do, excitement to be doing God's work and safety everywhere you go.

On behalf of the Fenwick Team - Wilma
