Start a HANDS Team

Getting Started

HANDS Teams are typically formed by a Team Leader who recruits 8-12 members from their church, family, workplace or community. If you are interested in forming a team from your church, family, workplace or community, please explain further in the box provided and indicate your location(s) of interest and availability. We will contact you at the information provided to discuss your options!

Current opportunities:

Dominican Republic:

The Belen School facility is in need of remodeling to order to comply with the standards of the government's new mandate of full day classes. This project will extend one wing of the school and will include a two-storey addition with a classroom, a new stairway and cafeteria and kitchen area.

Nicaragua:

We are looking for several more HANDS teams to serve at a range of schools in Nicaragua. Currently, EduDeo and it’s partner are reviewing the needs within the association and assessing which projects to move forward with. Projects will be finalized in October.

Zambia:

Mwase Primary School is in need of renovations. For 12 years, the secondary school students have been using the primary classrooms but have now moved to their own facility. Teams will be starting with laying cement blocks, adding a new roof, plastering walls and adding windows.

Belize:

We are thankful that the projects and opportunities to serve at Concepcion and Cornerstone have all been assigned!
