Travel Day

Niagara HANDS Team:

Tim Bootsma met us this morning at Aleida's to send us off with the blessing of
Edu Deo. He led us in a beautiful devotion. He challenged us to get to know the
people we meet and find out what is important to them.

To try to tune into the different culture and lifestyle and to see how God is working there. He said that although we might be stepping out of our comfort zone, we should think about how we all are part of the world wide church and think about what we each can offer.

Although we are many parts, we are one body. He encouraged us to stop from time
to time and listen to what God is telling us.

It was an uneventful day of travel. We flew from Buffalo to Atlanta and from Atlanta
to Managua. The pilots on the Metro (train) in the Atlanta airport got a good laugh
watching 11 people in brown T-shirts (EduDeo) almost fall like domino's when the
train jolted off.

One commented that he has stopped telling people to hang onto the straps or poles
- he just watches now :)
