Day 10

Mount Brydges HANDS Team:

The Final Blog of the trip:

Well we have come to the end of an amazing time here in Nicaragua. We have arrived back at the Nehemiah Center after 3 days of work. The main parts of the foundation are done. Although it does not look like we really did anything....we did. We dug 14 holes that were a meter and a half deep, and cleand and then painted over 150 beams.

We had a closing time where some of the High School kids told us about how they admired that we worked so hard and were willing to come all the way to Nicaragua to help people that we did not even know.

We have stayed in 3 different places thoughtout our time here and we have enjoyed them all. The last place that we stayed in Leon was super nice. We were in hotel like rooms that had room for 3 people in each and to just add to the location and the beatiful lot there was a pool. We had alot of fun playing volleyball and just swimming around relaxing after a durty day at work.

Over all it was a very productuve time and really opened all our eyes to how the people live down here. There have been some things that we have seen that we will never forget. There are experinces that we have experienced that will never be replaced.

We are so blessed and i don't think that we realize that in the culture that demands us to be the best and have the best. The people down here are so happy and are content with what we would consider having just about nothing.
