Day 4

Mount Brydges HANDS Team:

We feel so blessed to be in Leon and having the privilege of being the first team to work at this school. Our hearts were deeply moved to hear the staff and students vocalize how God has answered prayers in providing a means to increase their facility capacity.  This is vital to meet the growing needs of the large student body and our team is only the beginning!!

Today we completed three days of work on the shool building rebar structures needed for the new addition supports, painting of roof beams, digging holes for the foundations and most importantly, getting to know and serve with our Nicaraguan construction team. We also have had the opportunity to have some time with the highschool classes here, asking questions and answering them.

Currently we are back in Managua enjoying an evening of fellowship together. We are looking forward to our cultural time that we will be having over the next couple of days.

We have appreciated the notes from our families and church family and friends that we have received since we have been here. We are thankful that you continue to hold us in prayer during our time here.

On behalf of the team,

Lori

Glad to actually see you all. I can tell by the dirty clothes how hard you are working. Missing my guys, and praying for the team. Have fun this weekend.

Great to hear that the team is having a great time working so hard, enjoy your time there with the school children and the people of Nicaragua. We just got back a week ago with the HANDS team to Belize and had an awesome time, hope your trip goes just as fanatastic. God does great things! Make sure Jessica and Eric work hard. Ha ha!!

Hello to you all and big hugs to Kristi Great to see your dirty clothes means you are all working hard. Seeing the kids in uniform reminds me of Haiti. Was good to talk to you on skype. Have a fun relaxing weekend. Enjoy your worship tomorrow. God bless you all. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Reseda is feeling at home here as she now feels she needs to tantrum when she doesn't get her way. Little stinker!!!! We will bring her back after church tomorrow. Bye bye for now....
