FAITH IN ACTION

Faith in Action HANDS Team:

Hello - today (Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011) our team FAITH IN ACTION / FE EN ACCIO'N met together for the first time. God has placed a wonderful group of people together to go to Nicaragua in November to serve Him through EduDeo Ministries. We shared a wonderful afternoon of getting to know each other and discussing our plans for this mission trip.. My prayer is that the Lord will bless each of us as we prepare for Nicaragua and to meet our Nicaraguan friends. May our hearts and minds  be open to all that God has in store for us as a team.

"Whoever brings blessing will be blessed." Proverbs 11:25a

Blessings!

Ruth

We as a team "Faith in Action" are 5 weeks away from leaving for Nicaragua. As we get closer, the excitement starts to build more and more. We are trusting in the Lord to continue to bless our preparations in going and rely on Him to go with us. We strive to bring honor to Him and to further His Kingdom. To God be the glory!

We are about 25 1/2 hours away from leaving for the Airport. After many months of preparation, we are excited to finally be leaving for Nicaragua. One of our team members, Gord Veldstra, is unable to join us, for health reasons. We entrust Him to our Heavenly Father's care and trust that he will be restored to full health again real soon. We are going to miss you Gord! God has made it possible for us to have another person join our team with very short notice. We are thankful that Gord VanGeest is able to join us. We covet your prayers for safety in our travels,in our work, and above all God's blessings in our relationships with our Nicaraguan friends and fellow believers. May God's blessings rest on all of our family and friends and return us back together again in due time. Blessings! Ruth & Ralph

Thinking about the team today as you arrive at your destination and see things you'd only imagined. Praying for you all and looking forward to reading updates on all the things you are doing in God's name!

Looking forward to hearing from you all. Like Mona, anxiously waiting to hear from you all. I pray that your work and interaction with the Nigaraguians and amongst yourselves will be Blessed and that the Lord will hold you all in the palm of his hand. (Missing my one and only already)

Greetings everyone! We have safely arrived at the Nehemiah Centre here in Managua, Nicaragua! Our travels today went smoothly. We left Hamilton around 1:30 am this morning and we are so thankful to God for bringing us here. The weather is warm and we are nicely settled in here at the Nehemiah Centre and enjoyed a delcious supper together. "Shaped by God" is our theme for our stay here, and it is our prayer that God will prepare us each day to serve Him. We thank you for your prayers and support and know that we are in God's hands.
