What happened in 1849

Fraser Valley HANDS Team:

The Sunshine slowly rose speading it yellow rays across the sky.  The birds sang out their praise to their maker.  The fan slow turned back and forth back and forth back and forth.  THEN sunddenly the alarm rings braking the peace and quit pulling us all from a land of dreams and snores.

With a quick shower we are ready for breakfast.  Breakfast of beans and rice and watermelon and for the less adventagerous toast and fruit loops.  With breakfast down, Woo pulls out his guitar and we all tried singing praises to God in Spanish (much to the humour of the Spanish speaking people within ear shot!)

Steve then came out to give a lesson on the history of Nicarugua.  The talk was full of lots of facts including what happen in 1849.

With Steve done giving us way more info then we could all collectively remember and lunch ready we eat.  Then its off to Malagalpa.

After driving for two and a half hours we make to school were we will be helping out in the constrution of the classrooms.  With a quick tour we head off to the place where we are sleeping and eating for most of the rest of the week.

Happy Canada from Nicarugua! (from all of us but Hannah)
