Day 5

Burlington 2014 HANDS Team:

Buenas noches amigos! (Good Evening friends). It’s Friday! Our last day at work for this week. After our usual morning of breakfast and devotions we took the scenic route to the school. It’s another beautiful hot, sunny day. Today was 29 degrees! WOW! We spent the morning continuing our block laying and finished off the afternoon building rebar cages for the pillars in the walls. After coming home we showered and ate dinner and did devotions. Now we are off to town to go for a walk and get some yummy Domincan icecream. Tener una buena tarde! (Have a good evening)

Hello Jeannie and (Dianne)....nice to read what's going on in Dominican. You will be coming back with new construction skills and a deep appreciation for hot showers!!! (don't think I could stand in a cold shower)Yes, and you had a nice break from shoveling snow Jeannie, and some record breaking cold. May you all be a blessing there to those around you, and hope the rest of the trip goes well. Con&Anita
