Day 3 - Work Day 2

Barrie HANDS Team:

Wow, what a day it has been!  Today's work was a bit similar to yesterday's work, because it included:  mixing and pouring concrete, tying and bending rebar, and hauling materials up to the second storey.

Kristen, Nikki and Leo started the morning by visiting the three youngest classes.  They were warmly welcomed with worship songs, and they taught the children "if you're happy and you know it".  Kristen and Nikki also taught gym class to grade 3/4 class.  They have a number of little friends that ask for them at every recess.

The Belizean workers have been a true blessing to work alongside.  They are enthusiastic about the progress they see, and principal is also pleased with our accomplishments.

It has struck us to see how friendly all the Belizeans are; they greet us cheerfully whenever the pass us, and they are teaching us some Spanish phrases as well.

We look forward to tomorrow's challenges and opportunities.  Please continue to pray for our continued health and safety.

Great job all, sounds like everyone is in good health and spirits. You are blessing to those there but you are also being blessed by the people God is putting in your path.
