We've Arrived

Barrie HANDS Team:

After roughtly 13hours of driving through snow, ice, and winter roads, airports, flying, customs for two countries, we touched down in Belize.  (Many thanks to our drivers!) We are safe and sound, all baggage found!

A two hour bus ride, on a classic school bus, took us to our future worksite, Presbyterian Day School.  We surveyed the work prepared for us by prior teams, and enjoyed a wonderful dinner barbequed goodness.  We have checked into our hotel (the Hokol Kin - last minute change) in Corozal, approximately 20minutes from the school.

We are looking forward to a good night's sleep, and all that tomorrow has in store.

We thank you for all the prayers and support that have gotten this far.  Please continue to pray for our safety, health, and effective use of the opportunites we encounter!  Stay Tuned!

Glad to read that you arrived safely. Was thinking about you all when we were shovelling our driveway. Wondering about your drive to the airport and your flight. Looking forward to reading your blog posts.

So happy to hear you arrived safe, and just in time. Airport in Toronto has many planes grounded. Weather is cold here and though you probably had rain today, sunny skies are in the near future. Praying for you!!
