A Partner in Belize

EduDeo partners with PCSB (Presbyterian Church Schools in Belize) – a nationally run community of Christian schools under the leadership of the Presbyterian Church in Belize (est. 1987). They have a long-held appreciation for the vital role of Christian schools in strengthening the church and family, in preparing the next generation of leaders, and in transforming culture.

The Presbyterian Church Schools in Belize exist to guide, prepare and motivate students to serve God with excellence in Belize and around the world. A Biblical worldview requires that faith and learning be integrated; the Presbyterian Church is committed to modeling and teaching Christian beliefs, values and morals within all subject matter and school activities.

The government of Belize works with churches in this country under a unique partnership. The Belize Educational System provides a wonderful opportunity to share God’s Word. This church-state partnership system allows the church to establish, administer and hire staff for schools while the state commits to paying the salaries of teachers of most schools.

The Presbyterian Church Schools in Belize established its first elementary school in 1976, and has since established 7 other growing schools. Attendance at a number of the schools has been increasing in recent years, leading to a current total enrolment of nearly 1000 students.

Within the Presbyterian schools, 70% of students are non-believers, giving the schools a wonderful opportunity to present the message of the Gospel to these children and their families through every subject!
