A Partner in South Sudan

CH Global began as Children’s Homes International in 1990 and merged with Christian Horizons in 2007. In 2008, the organization changed its name to“CH Global” to reflect its expanded services.

As a Christian-based organization, CH Global serves those in need, believing that our common bond of humanity, the passion to serve others, and working together, brings positive change.

Their 4 key program areas are:

  • Education & Training
  • Children's Services
  • Leadership Development
  • Micro enterprise Development

EduDeo Ministries specifically partners with CH Global in South Sudan through the Walking Together teacher training program.  Here is some background information on CH Global's work in South Sudan:

In 2007, The Revival Movement of South Sudan invited CH Global to expand their capacity, depth and outreach on behalf of a nation in crisis. The Revival Movement is an evangelistic arm of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan, established during the war in an effort to maintain the message of the Gospel during the most difficult times when all church buildings were completely destroyed.

Since 2007, CH Global and The Revival Movement have worked together to develop and implement programs for children, adults, church planting training, and economic empowerment. Over 2,500 church planters were trained and an equal number of churches were planted during the past years. CH Global assisted the building of a conference center in Kajo-Keji that holds 2,000 participants, as well as assisting in the renovation of the rehabilitation centre for the leprosy colony. CH Global also launched some income-generating farm projects on 50 hectares of land and began sponsorship for orphan children. A community centre and a guesthouse are under construction in Juba city on 10 hectares of land given to CH Global by the community.

In 2011, the leadership of South Sudan felt the need to have a long-term presence of Christian ministries in South Sudan. A local Board of Directors was established and as a non-government Christian organization, CH Global South Sudan. Today the ministry is actively engaged in all 10 states of South Sudan and is planning an outreach in Sudan in the near future.

You can find out more about CH Global on their website.
