EduDeo Ministries is a Canadian, Christian mission organization serving children in
developing countries with quality education rooted in a Biblical worldview.


To assist the Communications Coordinator in developing a communication and marketing plan and related materials for EduDeo Ministries.

Duties & Responsibilities:  

The Assistant Communications & Marketing Intern will work with the Communication Coordinator to:

      a) Conduct an analysis of EduDeo’s donor base and communication pieces
      b) Develop an organizational communication and marketing strategy
      c) Assist in the review and redesign (as needed) of EduDeo’s promotional materials.
      d) Research donor database software.

Minimum Job Requirements: Students must:

    - Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment
    - Have been registered as full-time students in the previous academic year and intend to return to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year;
    - Be a Canadian citizen;
    - Be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

EduDeo is looking for a university student who is studying in the field of Communications and/or Marketing, as the job will involve writing and designing a marketing strategy and related materials.  Please submit examples of any relevant work you have done with your resume.  Student will:

    - Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    - Knowledge of Adobe Indesign & Photoshop an asset;
    - Demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality;
    - Display ability to create, compose and edit publication materials;
    - Demonstrate ability to research, organize information and communicate effectively;
    - Understand web communication strategies (social media, HTML, analytics, SEO, etc).

Reporting Structure:

The Assistant Communication & Marketing Intern will report to the Communication Coordinator.
