Introducing our New Walking Together Director!

Blog Archives:

An experienced educator and Christian school administrator, Robert Koole, former curriculum coordinator for the Society of Christian Schools in British Columbia (SCSBC), has responded to God's call to join the growing team at EduDeo Ministries, commencing July 1, 2013.

Bob brings a highly-qualified skill set and wealth of local and international experience to EduDeo’s Walking Together program. As a volunteer educator with this program, Bob has led teacher education initiatives in Zambia, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.

Prior to joining EduDeo Ministries, Bob served as a teacher and curriculum leader in K-12 Christian education for 35+ years and several years as a teacher educator for Trinity Western University and Calvin College. The respected academic continues to be actively involved in Christian education as a volunteer and consultant. Bob and his wife, Chris, live in Abbotsford, BC.

Motivated by a passion for Christian worldview, Christ-centred education and the classroom, Bob hopes to engage educators in Canada and the majority world to bring Gospel transformation to children and families across the globe.

Bob appreciates joining EduDeo Ministries as an avenue to continue serving as a Christian in education. He believes that continued education shaped by biblical worldview and worship will inspire teachers to provide transformational ways of learning for children and young people. He expects to extend the numerous Walking Together projects and contacts initiated by the previous director, John Vanderhoek.

Bob is convinced that the Gospel’s impact in education will deepen and expand if Christian teachers across the globe learn about and come to understand one another’s educational, cultural, and religio-spiritual contexts. EduDeo’s Walking Together program is a powerful avenue for Christian teachers throughout the world to share experiences and expertise so that more and more children come to explore, experience, and apply the Gospel of Jesus Christ in their lives and communities.

Please feel free to download and share this introductory card about Bob.
