EduDeo Ministries is looking for an energetic, driven individual with a background in marketing and a passion for sharing the Gospel to fill the position of Communications Coordinator.

Job Description


To initiate and lead marketing and fundraising strategies that promote and support the work of EduDeo Ministries.


To have a growing, active and aware supporting community that contributes to fulfilling our vision and mission.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an intentional and engaging online presence (manage EduDeo website, utilize e-newsletters, communicate through social media,  etc).

  • Develop and implement an effective marketing & fundraising plan for EduDeo (newsletters, major donor updates, program updates, fundraising appeals, event promotions, program brochures, proposals, videos, promotional items, etc).

  • Ensure that the donor database is being utilized properly by the Administrative Staff (targeting, segmenting, reporting) to track current/past activity to inform future planning.

  • Ensure all materials support a cohesive brand message (look/language, internal/external).

  • Provide supervision and direction to all staff/programs with regards to all promotion and communication to ensure a consistent brand message is being upheld.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • University degree in Business/Marketing or a related field

  • Experience in communications/marketing/fundraising is an asset

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Proficienct in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Self-motivated and takes initiative

  • Works well within a team environment

  • Flexible and able to multitask

  • Understands web communication strategies (social media, HTML, analytics, SEO, etc)

  • Understands  marketing/fundraising strategy and implementation

Reporting Structure

The Communications Coordinator will report to the Executive Director.
