Full Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, foster and facilitate healthy partnerships with other Canadian organizations and associations that share in or wish to contribute to our vision and mission.
  • Speak/present/lead workshops on behalf of EduDeo (sharing the vision, mission, specific projects, impact, stories of transformation, training/educational sessions on principles of international development) at meetings, assemblies and conferences of Canadian partners.
  • Ensure that all partnering organizations are appropriately thanked and receive regular communication (reports, updates, information, requests for assistance/contribution) from EduDeo Ministries.
  • Work closely with the Communications Coordinator in preparing materials needed for effective communication (promotion, reporting) with Canadian partners.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Specific Responsibilities re. Canadian Christian Schools:

  • Develop healthy and long-lasting relationships with Christian Schools Canada (CSC) and its member associations (Christian school, teacher and principal associations from the three different regions in Canada).
  • Develop, foster and expand relationships with Christian schools in Canada that participate in or contribute to our ministry.
  • Promote and facilitate* School2School Program partnerships with the advice/assistance of the International Partnerships Director.
  • Promote and administer* Road2Hope: School Edition with schools across Canada.
  • Identify and make natural connections between EduDeo's ministry and the curriculum/programs of Canadian Christian schools.

* Administrative support will be offered by the Program Assistant.

Minimum Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, Education, Marketing and/or International Development emphasis is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Demonstrated success in working as a member of a team and developing effective working relationships with other staff, partners, and volunteers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to communicate clearly in person and in writing; ability to develop and make effective presentations to small and large groups.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; ability to work effectively with a variety of people and personalities.
  • Demonstrated track record with respect to accuracy and detail orientation.
  • Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office/presentation software.

Reporting Structure: The Canadian Partnership Coordinator reports to the Executive Director.

I am assuming that if the job is based in Hamilton it means the person hired must be living in the area ... or are other arrangements possible?
