A bumpy journey

Blog Archives:

Today we are thankful that no one got hurt while part of the group was travelling on a very bumpy road to a remote school.  A tie rod on the vehicle broke, and we ended up next to the road in a field. A few young men walking along the road helped push us out, but the steering did not work due to the broken tie rod. The driver cut a seatbelt using a hacksaw blade and used it to tie the tie rod temporarily in place and continue traveling at a very low rate of speed. Another vehicle came and took us the rest of the way and we are safely back at the guest house.

Please continue to pray for safety. Tomorrow we plan to do more preparations for the teacher workshops that start on Monday.
