Story of Transformation: Edward

Blog Archives:

Each year, CCAP – EduDeo's partner in Zambia – identifies orphans and vulnerable children who would benefit from additional financial support, as school fees are often a barrier to students furthering their education. Edward knows this barrier well.

After writing all of his grade 9 final examinations, Edward was not selected to move to grade 10, as his parents could not afford to pay his school fees. One day, Edward went to school, asking teachers if they could help with the school fees – but they couldn’t.

Edward shares: “But God is good and He always finds a way for his children.”

Finally, Edward heard about the Orphans and Vulnerable Children fund, and was accepted for the bursary. He no longer worries about school fees, but can concentrate on his education and passing exams.

“I had nowhere to run to, because my parents had nothing for my school fees,” says Edward. “But now, God has answered my prayer. EduDeo – through CCAP – has given hope to me and other pupils at my school who need the same help as me.”

JOIN EDWARD IN PRAYER: Today, give thanks for CCAP, and pray for the teachers, students, and families impacted by the scholarships offered through the Orphans and Vulnerable Children fund.
