Internship Opportunity: Assistant Data Analyst & Database Designer


To assist with the design and transition to a new donor database system so that EduDeo can more effectively and efficiently communicate with ministry supporters.

Description of Responsibilities and Duties:

The Assistant Data Analyst & Database Designer will work with the Marketing Director to:

a) Assist with the clean-up of EduDeo’s current donor database.
b) Assist with the design of and transition to a new donor database.
c) Assist with the integration of EduDeo’s donor database with its website.
d) Identify, analyze and segment of donors within donor database.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Applicant must

  • Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment;
  • Have been registered as a full-time student in the previous academic year and intend to return to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year;
  • Be a Canadian citizen;
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:


EduDeo is looking for a university student who is studying in the field of Fundraising, Business and/or Marketing.

Successful candidates will:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of fundraising and donor database management.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality;
  • Understand basic fundraising terminology and strategies;
  • Demonstrate ability to research, analyze and organize information;
  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing;
  • Be creative in strategizing and forming relevant materials.
