EduDeo Ministries' Core Value: Renewal

Blog Archives:

In our ongoing effort to advance Christ-centred education in the developing world and promote a healthy approach to international development, EduDeo Ministries has adopted four key core Biblical values as a foundation to the vision and mission of Gospel transformation worldwide.   Our four core values include excellence, learning, partnership and renewal.

Our prayer is that our work and ministry would embody these values at every level and in every relationship, whether in our partnerships in Canada or in the developing world.

Our fourth core value is renewal and God’s ministry of reconciliation.  As image bearers of God, we live in a broken world that was originally created good and perfect with the purpose of reflecting the image and glory of God.  Despite the fall into sin and loss of divine glory, God intervened in time, sending His son, Jesus Christ, to redeem and restore creation.  As the Apostle Paul notes in Colossians 1:19-20: “For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.”

As a ministry of reconciliation, EduDeo Ministries is excited to participate in God’s ministry of reconciliation…reconciling all of creation.  We are not only called to present Christ as Lord in salvation, but Christ as King over creation.  All of creation belongs to the Creator, and as redeemed image bearers, we are called to work toward the restoration and renewal of all things. We are called to work both toward the restoration of the relationship between God and His image bearers and the relationship of image bearers with each other and creation.  We see a glimpse of this restoration, renewal and divine glory as we witness Gospel transformation in the children and surrounding communities of our partner schools in the developing world.
